Install the app

Get WhySoSlow from the App Store or Google Play. It runs on iOS and Android — phones and tablets.

Sign in

Create or sign in with a free burakov account (email, Google, or Apple). One account works across all your devices. Signing in lets your personal edits sync and enables the optional AI advisor.

Download the map

Open the Drive screen and download the Kyiv & oblast offline map (about 112 MB — do it on Wi-Fi). After that, the map, the speed limits, and the cameras all work with no signal.

Mount and go

Put your phone in a car mount, ideally on a charger, with the screen on. Tap Start: the map follows you and the heads-up display shows your speed next to the limit in force.
WhySoSlow assumes the phone is mounted, charging, and screen-on while you drive — so it’s tuned to stay cool and legible, not to run in your pocket in the background.
