Install the app

Get Fogline from the App Store or Google Play. It runs on iOS and Android — phones and tablets.

Sign in

Create or sign in with a free burakov account (email, Google, or Apple). One account works across all your devices. Signing in is what lets your painted map back up and follow you from one phone to the next.

Download your region

Download the Kyiv & oblast map pack — do it on Wi-Fi. It holds the road network and the basemap, so painting works fully offline afterwards.

Allow background location, then go

Grant background location so Fogline can paint while the app is closed, then simply go about your day. Every road you drive or walk starts filling in on its own.
Fogline is built to run quietly in the background — you don’t keep it open while you travel. Set it up once, and it paints as you live your life.

  • A free burakov account.
  • A one-time map download for your region (Wi-Fi recommended).
  • Background-location permission, so roads paint even with the app closed and the screen off.
