# Digests & alerts

> A calm daily digest, or an instant alert when it can't wait.

Lexiline lets you choose how quickly you hear about a match, so watching a topic never turns into
a stream you have to keep up with.

## The daily digest

By default, Lexiline gathers what matched during the day and gives you a single calm **digest** —
one moment to catch up, rather than a trickle of interruptions. It's the quiet default because
most topics you follow aren't urgent; they're things you'd like to know about, not things you
need this second.

## Instant alerts

Some topics can't wait. On **Pro**, you can mark a topic for **instant alerts** — a push
notification the moment a match appears, instead of waiting for the daily digest. Use it for the
handful of subjects where the day it breaks is the day you want to know.

## AI-written digests

On **Pro**, your digest can be written up for you: a short, readable summary of what happened
across your topics, so you get the gist at a glance and open the full story only when you want to.
