# Coverage & stats

> Your % coverage, the coverage ring, and the roads, kilometres and new-this-week numbers behind your map.

Every road you paint moves one number: your **coverage**. Fogline turns your travels into a simple,
growing score for how much of a region you've actually seen — the quiet dopamine loop that makes you
want to close one more blank street.

## Your coverage

* **% coverage** — the share of a region's roads you've painted, for the whole region and by
  district.
* **Coverage ring** — a ring that fills as your percentage climbs, so progress is visible at a
  glance.

Because a road is painted permanently, coverage only ever goes **up** — there's no streak to lose and
nothing to keep up with.

## The stats behind it

<Steps>
  <Step title="Roads painted">
    How many distinct road stretches you've covered — the raw size of your explored map.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Kilometres painted">
    The total distance of road you've travelled and painted across the region.
  </Step>

  <Step title="New this week">
    How much you've added in the last seven days, so you can see fresh ground at a glance.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Coverage and stats are computed **on your device** from your painted roads, so they're always in
  step with the map in front of you.
